Several KC Old Boys from the Atlanta chapter-- Kevin Boothe, Glen Laman, John Walker and Seymour Edwards -- joined the ladies of St. Hugh's Alumnae in a community service project to feed the homeless on March 22nd, 2008 in Downtown Atlanta. Old Boy Capt. Mike donated drinks from his restaurant.
The past students of St. Hugh's High School included: Sharon Marks, Joy Pink, Audrey Lindsay, Lavern Laman, Paulette Haase, Tonya Diaz, Karen Randall, Marcia Daley, Annette Scott and Mildred.
On this pleasant spring saturday afternnon they helped to distribute food, drinks and personal care items to the homeless population. Free HIV testing was also available.
The Atlanta chapter and St. Hugh's Alumnae have a long history of collaboration. Although there was a lull in the recent past efforts are being made to recapture the spirit.
